- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature

- 1 cup caramel chips
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
- ½ tsp flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream the softened butter with both sugars in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the caramel chips and optional chocolate chips.
- Scoop portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Sprinkle each cookie with flaky sea salt before baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are still soft.
- Cool on the sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
